Understanding the MDoll Mesh License

MDoll Design creates digital assets intended for creators building products for the IMVU catalog. These assets may include meshes, textures, and supporting files used to create clothing, accessories, and other custom catalog items.

When purchasing a digital asset from MDoll Design, you receive a license that allows you to use the asset to create your own IMVU products while respecting the rules described below.

All digital assets sold through MDoll Design are licensed for IMVU use only.

 

Permitted Use

MDoll Design assets may be used by creators to build original products for the IMVU catalog. Creators are allowed to:

  • Create clothing or accessories using the mesh
  • Apply their own textures and visual modifications
  • Use purchased textures when creating IMVU products
  • Edit the mesh as needed for their product design
  • Upload finished products to the IMVU catalog
  • Sell the final IMVU product created using the asset

Meshes and textures act as a foundation for your own creative work.

 

License Conditions

Each purchase grants a single-user license. This means:

  • One purchase equals one IMVU account
  • The license is granted only to the person who purchased the asset
  • The IMVU account used for creation must belong to the purchaser

Digital asset files may not be shared with other creators.

 

Derivable Settings

To protect the original assets, the following rules apply:

  • The base mesh may be left derivable
  • Creators may also set their own textured versions created from the mesh as derivable

Some meshes may require derivation from an official IMVU body dev kit. When required, derivation information will be included in the product files.

 

Restrictions

MDoll Design meshes and textures are licensed digital assets and must remain private to the purchaser. The following actions are not allowed:

  • Redistributing the original mesh or texture files
  • Sharing the files with other creators
  • Reselling the digital asset files themselves
  • Uploading the files as a free download
  • Including the assets in creator packs or bundles
  • Claiming the original assets as your own work

 

Digital Download Policy

All MDoll Design products are digital assets delivered through download.

Because digital files are delivered instantly after purchase, all sales are final, and refunds are not available once the files have been downloaded.

Please make sure you understand how to work with IMVU creator tools before purchasing.

 

Ownership

All meshes, textures, and digital assets sold through MDoll Design remain the intellectual property of MDoll Design.

Purchasing a product grants a license to use the asset for creating IMVU catalog products, but ownership of the original files is not transferred.

 

Enforcement

Violation of these license terms may result in:

  • DMCA enforcement
  • Removal of infringing IMVU products
  • Restriction of future purchases
